The Global Ground Disturbance level 2 course is fully compliant with the new ABCGA Standard. Participants of this program must obtain a grade of 80% or higher on a closed book exam in order to receive 201 Ground Disturbance Supervisory Certification. This supervisor-level training course is offered at our training facility in Dawson Creek, BC or on site at your location.
The following learning objectives will be covered in this course. The students
• Understand the Damage Prevention Process, legal requirements and industry best practises in the Ground Disturbance industry.
• Be able to identify and understand the roles of key Damage Prevention Stakeholders as it relates to Ground Disturbance activities.
• Be able to identify and understand the roles of key Ground Disturbance Stakeholders as it relates to Ground Disturbance activities.
• Understanding the effective processes to completing a ground disturbance, utilizing all the required steps.
Class time is a full 8 hours. This includes a 1-hour lunch break and 2-15-minute lunch breaks.
This course was developed by Global Group of Companies and is slated to become the new standard in ground disturbance safety certification in all Canadian oil and gas operations.
